My First Baby Shower :)

So I finished my student teaching in Kindergarten at Brazos Christian School this past Thursday! I LOVED it there! My mentor teacher, kindergarten team, principal, students, and whole school were amazingly sweet people! I was sad to leave, but also welcomed to break.

My mentor teacher Mrs. Taylor, pictured below with me, and her students gave me my first baby shower ever. We had Shipley's donuts and orange juice and the kids and their parents gave me baby gifts. It was so nice and such a surprise!! :)

I have so many adorable pictures of the eight kids in that class but I won't post them since I don't have their parents' permission. I figured this one was ok because you can't see most of their faces anyway.

I'm not sure what that look on my face is for.. but it was a cute Old Navy onesie.

Also, the students and Mrs. Taylor made me 2 very special gifts. One is the apron above with all the kids' names and hand prints on it. I loved it! Then they made my a book called "Teaching Advice for Mrs. Hamilton". They each wrote a page on what they think makes a good teacher. It's precious.

Wednesday, April 8th we went in for my 20 week appointment. We were so excited and a little nervous. It was a big moment finding out the sex of our first baby! Before we went in Justin asked what my final prediction was and I said a boy and he said a girl. I really had no idea but I'd heard so many things like... since I didn't get very sick early in pregnancy it's probably a boy and since I'm carrying a little low it's probably a boy... so I just went with that. Long story short the ultrasound tech said that it was a little girl! She said she never says 100 but she'll say she's 98% sure it's a girl! :) Justin was right! We didn't care if it was a boy or girl but I will say that we are both very very happy with a girl! Here are some pictures of our precious baby:

This is the gender shot above. Look at it as if she's sitting on a chair and you're looking at it from underneath. Her butt is to the right side and there's nothing between the legs.

Background Difficulties...

So I've been wanting to change my background for weeks now. I went to thecutestblogontheblock.com and found a precious background and it won't let me change it! I go through all the steps, paste it into the content page, and then it just stays the same...... Any suggestions?? I need help!!

I'm half way!!!!!!

I just would like to announce to everyone that today I am half way thru the pregnancy! I am 20 weeks to the day today :) Yay! Also, don't forget tomorrow is the BIG DAY! Unless that little baby has his or her legs crossed.. we will find out the gender! I'll will keep you posted! :)

Friday, April 3rd was Justin's 25th Birthday!
A whole quarter of a century old!
We and some friends went to dinner and then hung at afterwards at Fast Eddie's.
It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad our friends drove in - it was so good to see everyone!!

19 Weeks!
