Splish Splash Tateym's 1st Baths

This is a picture of Tateym's very first bath ever in the hospital nursery...

Here are a few pics of Justin and I attempting to bathe Tateym without getting her umbilical cord wet! We had a few trial and errors in the beginning.. We tried it first in the kitchen sink but it was too small, then moved to the kitchen counter to give sponge baths, then moved the pad into the bathtub so we would get more wet, and now finally that her cord is off we put her pink tub into the bathtub! She LOVES getting a bath and actually cries sometimes when we get her out of the bath. Just like her mom I guess- I could live in the bath!

Coming Home!

Tateym and I got to come home from the hospital on Saturday, August 22nd, after spending two nights at the College Station Medical Center. My wrist looked like I had been bar hopping or something. One ID was from being admitted to the hospital, one was for my allergy to penicillin, one matched Tateym's ID, one was there for some unknown reason, and the "kisses" one was a security tag. Every time they brought me the baby it chimed a lullay sound which told them they matched the correct baby with the correct mother. Also, if her "kisses"tag got anywhere close to the elevators or stairs the place would go under lock down. Pretty cool.

Getting Tateym ready to leave the hospital and enter the outside world :)

We dressed her up nice and pretty for her big homecoming!

When we got home Maggie was so confused and could not figure out what this little creature was. She followed her around and "watched after" all day! She makes a very good babysitter.

Maggie has a "big sister" tshirt and Wyatt has a "big brother" bandana.

My mom and dad made us this stork for our front yard! They did an awesome job on it.
