5 Months Old Today!
I can't believe Tateym Kayte's already 5 months old!
We can not imagine life without her now. She's soo much fun right now! She's keeping me on my toes all day and definitely keeps me laughing too! She is a growing girl weighing in over 14 lbs. I'm not exactly sure of her weight.. we'll go to the doctor next month. She loves to roll all over the place! I'll lay her down on a large blanket in the living room, go get a drink in the kitchen, and when I come back she's on the other side of the room. It's fun watching her roll and roll and roll and roll... Except of course when she's on the changing table and I'm trying to change her diaper. Then it feels more like trying to wrestle an alligator! She laughs and smiles all the time and also has this little "whine" to get her way. Justin calls her a drama queen when she does that. haha :) Oh and the SLOBBER! Wow. I have to change her outfit or pjs a few times a day. I of course have to mention that she's starting to say/make sounds that sound like "mama". I ran to tell Justin this morning, "I know you won't believe me but it just sounded like Tateym said 'mama' clear as day!" He just looked at me and smiled. Finally when Justin got home this afternoon he looked at me and said, "Did you just hear that?!?" I was thinking Uh..hello..I told you I wasn't lying! I'm going to keep listening and saying mama to her and I know it will get more and more clear and soon won't be a question if she's actually saying it or now. :) Tateym's different faces are what cracks me up the most. Many people have told me since she was a newborn that they love all of her funny faces. One of her new ones is the "Holding her breath look". She puffs her cheeks out and puts her lips in a kissing position. I tried to get a quick pic and posted it below. Tateym is eating rice cereal and vegetables & fruit baby foods. She loves them all! I have a hilarious video from the first time we fed her that I will post soon.
