Puppy Love
Tateym loves Wyatt & Maggie! Though I'm not sure the feeling is mutual with Maggie.. Tateym tries to play with her by hitting her, pulling her hair, and following her around. Maggie just growls at her. Wyatt is in a dog run now (thanks to Justin, my dad, and Justin's dad) so we can use the backyard without getting covered in dog hair and dog drool. Our backdoor doesn't look like this anymore either:
Wyatt was being a huge baby when it was raining and barking like crazy late at night so we put him in the laundry room. Of course Tateym loved this, it was her indoor zoo.
When we go see Wyatt in the dog run he jumps up on the fence and Tateym giggles like crazy! It's so cute. She's really going to love him when she gets older.
It's Summer time! Aka Watermelon time!
9 Months old! On May 20th
I know, I know... I am so behind on blogging. I have neglected it since I started my photography business. It's called Vintage Charm Photography and I don't have a website YET but I have a facebook page.. so if you are a facebooker check it out! I know our distant friends enjoy seeing our sweet girl grow so I will make sure that I find time to blog much more often!!
Here are Tateym's 9 month photos with her friend JoJo! Look how big she is getting:

8 Months Old! On April 20th
Our sweet baby girl is now over 8 Months old! Time for new pics with JoJo the teddy bear!
Tateym Kayte is crawling faster than ever & all over the house. She likes to get "chased"!! She's also pulling up on furniture, people, & anything else she can find and walking along the sides of furniture. I think she is going to be an early walker because she's really good at walking along the couch now. Her favorite new snacks are the puffs finger foods, biter biscuits, and wagon wheels. We are beginning to learn to self feed but they don't always make it in the mouth. She loves rides in her wagon, her swing on the back deck, Baby Einstein dvds, frozen teething rings, Mommy's silly songs and Daddy's silly noises, peekaboo (she plays peekaboo with us and sometimes starts it on her own), and "exploring" throughout the house. We are waiting for her top left tooth to make it's appearance... it's really close and it'll be her third tooth. She's growing up so fast! Our big girl decided to wean herself from her pacifier at about 7 months so we no longer use those at all, she's napping less during the day, and she's using a big girl sippy cup with fruit juice more often. Her hair is slowly coming in also! Dada is the most frequent word.. in fact she says it alllll day.. but she can also say MaMa, NaNa, BaBa (bottle), and other rambles, one that might possibly be Bye-Bye. I'm trying to teach her to say HI but right now it sounds like HA.
We recently bought her 3 bathing suits (1 bikini), little swimmer pants, baby sunscreen, a baby pool, and she has 3 pair of sunglasses so she is now ready for summer!! She'll be joining her baby cousin Saylor in her big pool soon. Look how sweet & happy this baby girl is:7 Months Old! On March 20, 2010 :)

Our trip to the ER
On Monday, Tateym & I were in the living room like just about every other day. She was playing on the floor and pulling herself up on anything & everything. All of a sudden I heard an awful cry. She had pulled herself up on the speaker that's to the right of the entertainment center and fallen back down hitting her head on the corner of the speaker. I was only a few feet away! I picked her up to console her and noticed the blood on her head. She hit it by her left eyebrow. I took her into the kitchen to grab a rag to apply pressure to the wound. By the time I got to the kitchen there was already blood dripping down her face and under her chin. I called Justin & he said to go ahead and take her to the ER. I didn't know how bad the laceration was but I knew it was bad enough that it probably needed some other care than a bandaid. Justin was in Caldwell at the time so only about 30 minutes away. I frantically ran around the house gathering my things. Luckily she had a diaper bag already packed and I just threw a few more things in it. I drove her to the ER and she cried and whined the whole way. When we got to the hospital though and walked in the door, my nosy baby soon forgot she was even hurt. She had too many people to look at and smile at! I questioned whether I should even be there, but I would rather be safe than sorry I didn't do something more for her. When the doctors came in to look at her they decided to glue it shut. They said this wouldn't leave as bad of a scar as a stitch would. So they cleaned the area & glued it together. She did not like this part! I basically had to hold her in a headlock. Finally after a $100 ER copay & receiving our discharge papers we were headed back to the house. Everyone reminded us that this was probably not the last time we would be bringing her in. Thank the Lord that this was only minor though! After all of that drama she came home & napped for two hours!
