Christmas in Pflugerville

Tuesday & Wednesday we were at Justin's dad's house in Pflugerville! We had a great time visiting his dad. He made us yummy steaks & baked potatos for dinner and eggs, bacon, biscuits, & hashbrowns for breakfast. :) He also makes really good candy turtles every Christmas.

Tateym & her daddy

Russell bought Tateym a stuffed lamb that plays "Jesus Loves Me". She decided to eat it.

He had this bouquet of giant cookies that were soo yummy! I made myself sick.

She found some friends to play with!

This blanket was a gift from Nana

Justin's dad wrote a poem for Tateym & had it mounted with these pictures. I love it! Especially the poem.

Here is the poem Russell wrote for Tateym:

A Little Girl

R. Hamilton

A man and his wife provided the blessing of an amazing new life;
May all your days ahead, be blessed with little strife.
No doubt this innocence is a gift from up above;
And this little girl’s birth provides proof, of his never-ending love.

When family, friends, and love ones come and gather around;
Joys and aspirations are always quick to abound.
As God guides, protects, and keeps you;
May you never lose direction, while your dreams you pursue.

There is no goal that you cannot achieve;
So set the bar high and his abundant blessings, you’ll receive.
Listen as your parents, provide you with direction;
Strength and guidance will emerge, with the upmost affection.

May love and happiness find you every day;
And don’t grow up too fast, as you enjoy your time at play.
Friends may come and go, but families are forever;
In spite of anything you could do, this bond shall not be severed.

Temptations will surely come your way;
And if there is ever any doubt, don’t forget to bow and pray.
Guidance and direction will lovingly be provided;
As along your favored path - you’ll be guided.

It’s hard to express all my joys;
As I have been blessed with two wonderful boys.
Little girls, they’re oh so sweet;
As for Papi, you make my life complete.

  1. That poem is so sweet! And Tateym looked adorable in all those pictures. Where did Nana get that blanket? I want one for Greg and I!
