9 Month Doctor Appointment!
I went in yesterday, Tuesday 07/28/09, for my 36 Week (9 Month) doctor appointment! I can't believe I'm 9 months pregnant now!!!!!! Scary! And exciting! :) They first checked my weight and I will admit that I gained 5 pounds in the last month! Woah.. BUT I would like to say for the record that I had just eaten a big plate of spaghetti and a piece of cake not even 30 minutes prior to that weigh in.. keep that in mind. However I guess it's not too much overall. A prego is supposed to gain 25-35 pounds during pregnancy and I've gained a total of 27 pounds so far and have a month left... so I'm in that range! Next they checked my blood pressure and it was great. I gave my urine and then a finger poke of blood to test my iron which was also good. I haven't had a problem with anything yet (sugar, iron, blood pressure, etc.) which is really surprising because I feel like I'm a "sickly" person and something's always wrong with me, but I thankfully everything has gone so smoothly! We went back in the room and listened to her heartbeat with the doppler and it was great too! I had to be tested for Group B Strep but that's a normal routine they always do. The labor class I went to said if you go into labor before you have this done at your doctor's office the hospital will have to check you before delivery. Incase anyone cared to know that. Doctor Zivney asked if I have been having contractions at home and I said yes. They've been small and definitely irregular and painless. In fact I had one right as we were having this conversation and I asked, "Is this a contraction?" Because the baby is so big now and moves so much and hard it's sometimes hard for me to tell if it's a contraction or she's just pushing against my stomach! He said, "Yes, and when it's time you won't be asking if it's a contraction. You'll know and it'll take your breathe away." Great. Sounds fun. Dr. Z said since I am now 36 weeks if I go into labor at any time he will not stop it! He also said she is head down ready to go! So it's really just a waiting game. It could be any day or it could be at the end ofAugust!! I'll be going into his office every Tuesday now until she's born so I will keep everyone updated!!!
35 Week Belly Photos
Week 35 consisted of sore feet, exhaustion, heartburn, and lots of kicks in the ribs! Now I can say I am starting to feel miserable.. For 2 days this week I was feeling completely miserable but not every day, thank God. Poor Justin on those 2 days!! I was not in a very good mood. I was too tired to get off the couch and even if I wanted to get off the couch it was a big task! We're getting ready to meet this little girl!!

34 Week Belly Photos!
Warning: Some images below may be too graphic to some viewers!
I am at the very end of 34 weeks now. On Tuesday, July 21st, I will be 35 weeks and have 35 days left until my due date!! I'm started to feel very pregnant now. Night time is the hardest because my body (feet and back mainly) is tired from the day and I've filled my remaining belly space with food and it gets hard to breathe and sit comfortably.. Still not miserable though!

It Was Hard Work!
This seems like a very long time ago when Justin first started painting the walls pink!
Then my dad cut and put up the railing to go around the room.
The sanded and painted that white and the painted lower part of the wall brown.

I found this scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby before I was even pregnant and bought it because I loved the colors and flowers and knew I wanted to do a baby girl's nursery like it.
I traced the rim of a cup for the circles and cut out a petal from poster board, alternating it around the circles to make flower petals. It took a lot of patience! I also used the paper to cover picture frames and her name will be covered in this paper and placed on top of the hutch.

The last touch was painting the scripture above the crib. It took us awhile to decide which scripture or saying to use but I think we chose a good one!
The Nursery Completed!
